Senior Associate, Alternatives Manager Research

The Alternatives Manager Research Senior Associate specializes in alternative investments, with a focus on private markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment research, transaction management, and relationship building within the private markets landscape. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our investment strategies by conducting in-depth due diligence on managers and investment opportunities.
What you’ll do:
Act as a key member of the deal teams, responsible for sourcing potential investment opportunities in the private markets space
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify attractive investment prospects and evaluate their alignment with the firm's investment objectives
Participate in meetings with investment managers to gather additional information and insights
Prepare detailed and insightful reports on managers, investment opportunities, and market developments to support investment decision-making
Draft investment memorandums for fund investments and co-investments, highlighting key investment thesis, risks, and opportunities
Proactively develop new research processes and methodologies to enhance the firm's investment decision-making capabilities
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging investment opportunities through continuous market research and analysis
