We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting various business functions, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and strong communication skills.

M-F/ 7am-4pm
Requirements
- Prepares job cost journal entries and other ad hoc general ledger entries.
- Reconciles general ledger accounts with various sub-ledgers.
- Prepares fixed asset and lease accounting monthly journal entries. Ensures documentation for new and / or dispositions of fixed assets and leases is maintained.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions as needed.
- Performs standard and ad hoc analyses as needed to assist operations with problem solving and decision-making processes
- Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
- Assists with the annual financial audit process
- Implements and/or improves policies and procedures
- Utilizes advanced Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tables, to analyze financial data and support decision-making processes.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and clear communication while interacting with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA designation preferred, not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting, financial statement preparation, and cost accounting.
- Background in public accounting or auditing is preferred.
- Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
