Must be located in the DFW area and be willing to commute to the Las Colinas office 1 day a week (Mondays) for a weekly staff meeting.

We are looking for an outgoing, motivated, hands-on Senior Accountant to support the Company’s Accounting function. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a broad range of transactional, reconciliation and other accounting activities. Functions include accounts payable processing, monthly billing process, customer receivables management, account reconciliations, as well as maintaining accounting policies and procedures that ensure the highest level of efficiency while following appropriate internal controls and compliance with US GAAP. This role is an integral part of the finance team and will report to the Assistant Controller.
What you’ll do:

· Process all accounts payable transactions including corporate credit card reconciliations.
· Process vendor invoices by matching to POs, code to proper g/l accounts, obtain departmental approval and reconcile monthly vendor statements.
· Work with Payroll Supervisor to assist with the payroll accounting process
· Review cost center classifications to ensure proper coding.
· Record prepaid expenses, fixed asset depreciation, and other accurate monthly journal entries and accompanying reconciliations.
· Manage workload to adhere to the monthly close calendar.
· Manage positive business relationships with customers, vendors, and other outside parties.
· Support with various audits (financial statements, bank, external) and tax compliance (1099s) as needed.
· Seek opportunities to standardize and automate processes to gain efficiencies
Requirements
What you’ll bring:
· Minimum 6+ year of accounting experience, with at least 1-2+ years of experience working in a SaaS environment
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
· Accounts Payable, Payroll, Prepaid Expenses, Fixed Assets, and Balance Sheet reconciliation experience.
· Must have excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP).
· Experience with Financial Force, or similar accounting systems;
expense reporting software (Nexonia) and Salesforce a plus.
· Experience with Payroll Accounting processes and procedures
· Must have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s. The successful candidate will have a "

attitude, be able to multi- task and be ready to thrive in a very fast-paced startup environment.
· Proven ability to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects, along with “wearing multiple hats”.
· Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong sense of business ethics, integrity and discretion.
· Self-motivated individual with the ability to problem solve and work independently with a minimum level of supervision, while being a good team player.
· Effective and decisive under pressure and operating with a sense of urgency.
