Our client, a well-established advertising agency located in a landmark building overlooking the Magnificent Mile, seeks a talented SEM/SEO Digital Media Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a prestigious location with views of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SEM/SEO Digital Media Specialist with at least two years of hands-on experience developing and managing paid search campaigns on platforms like Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other PPC and paid social media channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2C and B2B industries, particularly in lead generation for senior living, tourism, manufacturing, and home services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective campaign strategies for agency clients.
Execute tests, collect and analyze data, and identify trends and insights to optimize campaigns.
Achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns through detailed data analysis.
Create and present monthly performance reports highlighting campaign activities and outcomes.
Engage in other relevant tasks to support the digital media team.
Requirements:
Proven experience in SEM and PPC campaign management on Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications.
Experience in managing paid social media campaigns.
Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and Formulas.
Expertise with bid management tools (e.G., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite).
Strong knowledge of website analytics tools (e.G., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
