Job Description
The Expeditors Cybersecurity Team provides industry-leading services to our customers by protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and our customers' electronic data. We mitigate corporate risk through analysis of threat, potential threat actors and actions and a risk based methodology based on deep understanding of our own infrastructure and potential impacts from cyber events. Strategically, cybersecurity activities both improve our security posture and reduce long-term resource requirements.
A Security Analyst brings a dedicated operational security focus to all aspects of Information Services. The Security Analyst is exposed to many technologies &
disciplines, comprehending complex systems and layered information to identify and clearly communicate risk. The role is heavily involved with monitoring mitigating security incidents on our globally deployed endpoints.
The Cybersecurity team is highly collaborative and communicative internally, within the IS department, and with the company as a whole. Excellent customer service is always priority one.
Job Responsibilities:

Improves and maintains our security operations tooling and processes.
Promotes security awareness across the global organization.
Participates in implementing solutions for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
Supports, maintains, and troubleshoot network security at all branches across the globe.
Responds to security events across six continents.
Identifies, remediates, and mitigates security vulnerabilities.
Conducts risk assessment using a threat modeling method.
Researches, evaluates, and recommends systems and procedures for the prevention, detection and containment of data and systems.
Monitors and evaluates systems for unauthorized access.
Oversees and performs the design and deployment of security infrastructure and applications.
Train Cybersecurity team members and promote security awareness in the organization.
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
