Secondary Math Teacher

Astatula Baptist Church and Astatula Christian School are seeking a passionate and qualified candidate for a Secondary Math Teacher position. This is a full-time position for the upcoming academic year.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons that align with the school's curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth
Use a variety of instructional methods and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students
Assess and evaluate student performance, provide regular feedback, and maintain accurate student records
Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and participate in parent-teacher conferences
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Background screening is required.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field preferred
Valid teaching certification or license in Math preferred
Prior teaching experience in a secondary school setting is preferred
Strong knowledge and understanding of secondary level math curriculum and instructional strategies
Ability to effectively communicate complex math concepts and engage students in learning
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team
