POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
include, but are not limited to the following:
Determines that room has been vacated and proceed to clean and service room in specified procedures, including dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, mirrors, emptying trash, making beds, replenishing towels and supplies, and any other tasks needed
Responsible for the security of assigned room keys
Replenishes supplies where needed, maintaining housekeeping cart, linen supply and supply closet areas neat and fully stocked
Promptly report any maintenance or guest needs to Supervisor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the hotel areas
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shift hours
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Requirements
Must be guest oriented.
Previous experience is helpful.
Must demonstrate good verbal and interpersonal communications skill.
Ability to effectively communicate in English
