job description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young men? Do you believe in the power of education as a tool for healing and growth? Discovery Ranch is seeking an engaging Science Teacher to join our dedicated academic team.
At Discovery Ranch, we provide a therapeutic setting for young men who are on their healing journey. Nestled next to the stunning Uinta National Forest in the southern Wasatch Range, our residential treatment center utilizes a relationship-based and experiential therapy approach.
As a Science Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing traditional classroom instruction to a diverse student body. Our students come from all over the country and face various challenges, including emotional, behavioral, and substance use disorders. This includes conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, unhealthy relationships, and substance abuse.
We are looking for an engaging, creative, and dedicated teacher who understands the value our students bring and can help them realize their potential through education. Working as part of our larger team, you will provide integrated care services to our students, addressing their academic needs alongside their therapeutic progress. By fostering healthy relationships, creating novel and challenging experiences, and adopting a strengths-based approach, you will contribute to the healing process and create lasting change for our students.
If you are motivated by the opportunity to serve families and be part of a transformative healing journey, join the academic team at Discovery Ranch for Boys.
