Responsibilities:
Provide school based individual and group counseling and promote personal and social functioning to include, but not limited to:
Behavior Management plans and contracts
Social skills
Conflict resolution
Problem solving
Self esteem
Provide case management as liaison between family, student and send school district's Child Study Team as well as to community based social service organizations.
Communicate with sending school districts and parents/guardians in regards to the completion and updating of educational plans, instructional guides and annual reviews
Requirements
Master's Degree In Human Services Field
LSW required, LCSW preferred
NJ School Social Worker Certification Required
NJ School SAC certification preferred.
