As the Sales Manager at Morningstar Corporation, a leader in solar power electronics, the role demands a strategic, innovative leader who is adept in managing OEM, B2B sales, and partner channel strategies.
With direct oversight of our revenue strategy, this position is critical for steering our financial growth and sustainability. Responsibilities include setting ambitious company goals, fostering robust partnerships with internal leaders, and ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.

What you’ll do:

OEM and B2B Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute sales strategies specifically for OEM and B2B sectors, ensuring alignment with Morningstar's product offerings and market position.
Partner Channel Development:
Establish and nurture strategic partnerships and channels, enhancing Morningstar's reach and presence in the solar energy market.
Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a sales team with a focus on these specialized channels, fostering a culture of success and goal achievement.
Coaching and Performance Management:
Motivate and develop a team of trusted, versatile professionals in a collaborative environment.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and sustain long-term relationships with key business clients and OEM partners, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.
Market Insight:
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities, adapting strategies as necessary.
Collaborative Efforts:
Work closely with the marketing, product development, and technical support teams to ensure a unified approach to market strategies and customer solutions.
Performance Metrics:
Monitor sales performance against goals, analyzing data to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Education and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
Strong understanding of sales strategies, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Field experience designing, maintaining, and/or troubleshooting battery-based solar energy systems including solar controllers and inverters.
