Job Description
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position is a pivotal role within our organization, primarily focusing on expanding our market presence into greenfield territories. As an SDR, your main objective is to identify and cultivate new business opportunities by initiating contact and setting up meetings with potential clients in untapped markets.
WHAT YOU’ll DO
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Conduct thorough research to identify potential accounts and decision-makers. Utilize various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, and social selling to engage with prospects and generate interest in our solutions.
New Meeting Setup:
Proactively reach out to target accounts to schedule introductory meetings with our senior enterprise-level account executives. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products or services and tailor messaging to resonate with the specific needs and pain points of each prospect.
Pipeline Development:
Collaborate closely with senior account executives to understand their strategic goals and target accounts. Qualify leads and opportunities to ensure alignment with our ideal customer profile and ensure a smooth handover to the enterprise account executive team.
Market Expansion Strategy:
Continuously evaluate and refine our approach to penetrate new markets and territories. Provide insights and feedback based on market research and prospect interactions to optimize outreach strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to align messaging, share insights, and optimize lead generation efforts. Act as a liaison between sales and marketing to ensure seamless communication and alignment of goals.
