This critical role is the heartbeat of our sales department with a heavy focus on outbound sales, lead qualification, and appointment setting for demos. Handwrytten, the world's leading provider of handwritten note automation is looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and assist in developing an outbound sales pipeline.

Role Overview:
As an SDR at Handwrytten, you will be the key internal lead in building and developing new outbound relationships and partnerships with targeted prospects. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Opportunity:
This role is positioned for growth in the sales department as a next step into a Senior Sales Representative. We are rapidly growing!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Using a list of provided leads, proactively research prospects using every available means to successfully build a new sales pipeline.
Make 60+ phone calls a day and utilize email, events, and outbound marketing campaigns to engage leads and convert them into prospects willing to meet with our Business Development Executives, ultimately becoming new Handwrytten clients.
Qualify incoming sample requests and schedule demos to showcase our service.
Additional duties in support of new sales and new customer acquisition as the process progresses.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Aptitude and passion for sales.
Willingness to consistently and persistently make outbound calls and reach new leads.
A high tolerance for rejection!
Strong research and Internet/social media aptitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Superior listening skills and the ability to engage prospects by phone.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must be organized and detail-oriented.
Act with integrity, demonstrating sound business and professional ethics, and consistency of principles, values, and behaviors.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to achieve goals.
Bachelors degree required.
Compensation and Metrics:
Salary:
$40,000 - $45,000 + $100 per meeting booked.
Goal:
3 meetings per week.
Potential compensation:
$50,000 - $65,000 annually.
Career Advancement:
This position has the potential to turn into a Sales Manager or Account Manager role after one year in the position.
