Position Summary:

  • Coordinates clinical activities of the Wound Care Center which include but aren't limited to utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing care through use of hospital and nursing standards.


Minimum Education:

Graduate of a Program in Discipline - Required
Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Must be able to work independently.
Addresses wound care consults timely.
Ability to teach staff on wound care, staging, &
documentation
Professionally interact with patients
Abilty to teach patients how to manage their wound care.
Facilitates Pressure Injury monthly meeting.
Microsoft office skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.DragEditDeleteRequired Skills:

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 6 months.DragEditDeleteRequired Licenses:

Current licensure by WV State Board of Nursing.DragEditDeleteMinimum Work Experience:

Wound Care Certification preferred.DragEditDeleteRequired Skills:

One to two years related experience and/or training preferred.
