Non-Local Pay Rate:
$56.34/hr.Taxable Wage:
$44.51/hr.
Per Diem:
$11.83/hr.
Reward:
$7.04/hr.
Local Pay Rate (within 60 miles):
$49.14/hr.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the telemetry unit.
Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms, and respond appropriately to any changes.
Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and implement treatment plans as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatments, and care plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay current with telemetry nursing best practices.
Requirements:
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Connecticut.
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Experience:
Prior experience in telemetry or critical care nursing preferred.
Skills:
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move patients and equipment, and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
