Non-Local Pay Rate:
$53.65/hr.Taxable Wage:
$39.15/hr.
Per Diem:
$14.50/hr.

$42.92/hr.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
Assess, monitor, and support patients throughout the labor and delivery process.
Administer medications, treatments, and assist with pain management as prescribed.
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, recognizing and responding to any complications.
Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Educate and support patients and their families on labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay current with labor and delivery nursing best practices.
Requirements:
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas.
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience in labor and delivery or maternal-child health nursing preferred.
Skills:
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move patients and equipment, and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
