$50.45/hr.
Non-Local Pay Rate:

Responsibilities:
Provide urgent and critical care to patients in the emergency room setting.
Perform rapid assessments, initiate treatment plans, and monitor patient conditions.
Administer medications, perform procedures, and assist with emergent situations as part of the interdisciplinary team.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations.
Maintain competence through continuing education and professional development activities.
Requirements:
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Connecticut.
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Experience:
Prior experience in emergency room or critical care nursing preferred.
Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move patients, and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
