Non-Local Pay Rate:
$57.43/hr.Taxable Wage:
$42.93/hr.
Per Diem:
$14.50/hr.
Reward:

Local Pay Rate (within 75 miles):
$45.95/hr.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and implement treatment plans as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Educate patients' families on medical conditions, treatments, and care plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay current with pediatric CVICU nursing best practices.
Requirements:
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas.
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience in a pediatric CVICU or critical care setting preferred.
Skills:
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move patients and equipment, and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
