Revenue Accountants

Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated Revenue Accounting Assistant to join their team immediately on a contract-to-hire basis. The Revenue Accounting Assistant will play a vital role in supporting their financial operations. This accountant will be helping to ensure financial compliance related to revenue for this organization's healthcare clinic locations. This position will be responsible for handling accounts payable, pulling and compiling reports in Excel, managing daily cash receipts, and reconciling cash receipts for clinics and grants.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel.
Support accounts payable functions, including processing invoices and payments
Pull and compile financial reports using Excel
Manage daily cash receipts and ensure accurate record-keeping
Reconcile cash receipts for various clinics and grants
Assist with billing processes and ensure timely and accurate invoicing
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations
Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes
Perform other duties as assigned to support the financial department
Requirements
- Proven experience in a financial analyst or similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Experience with accounts payable and cash reconciliation is a plus
