Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Retail National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key retail accounts at a national level. You will drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of the retail industry, exceptional communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.
Account Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with national retail accounts
Understand each account’s unique needs, goals, and challenges
Develop account-specific strategies to drive sales and profitability
Sales Strategy:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans
Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the retail landscape
Revenue Growth:
Set sales targets and work to achieve or exceed them
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
Product Knowledge:
Stay up to date on company products and industry trends
Train retail staff on product features and benefits
Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and national retail accounts
Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations
Forecasting and Reporting:
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management
Track and report on key performance metrics
