PURPOSE of the Retail Inventory Auditor:
This position is responsible for supporting various inventory and auditing procedures that help ensure accurate reporting and control of store asset balances. The Inventory Auditor travels daily to stores within and outside the Region to conduct physical inventories of the stores merchandise utilizing a handheld scanner. A typical full scanning audit is conducted with a team of auditors. Upon completion of the audit, the auditor works with the Store Manager to review the audit results and communicate the results and observations to the Audit Manager and Operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Visit store locations to perform quality audits and assess risks
Count all merchandise utilizing a handheld scanner in a store
Conducts physical inventories to validate reported store inventory balances
Follows audit procedures to ensure the policies of FirstCash are being followed
Works in a safe manner by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Able to work independently with little supervision
High level of organizational skills and being able to pay attention to detail and accuracy
Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
Must have a valid driver's license with no major offenses and current insurance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to be flexible such as stooping and reaching overhead.
Able to travel by car or plane
Able to take overnight trips
Able to climb ladders
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education /Experience:
High School education, or GED.
1 year of Inventory Audit, Retail Operations, Merchandising, or Warehouse/Logistics preferred.
Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with management to relay information correctly.
Bilingual a plus but not required.
Other Skills:
Attention to detail.
Must enjoy meeting and interacting with staff in our retail locations.
Maintains a positive and professional attitude and demeanor, with a team player mentality, especially on location.
Work Hours:
This is a Full-time role, must have the ability to work from 8:
30 a.M.
- 5:
30 p.M., however, there may be times requiring longer scheduled hours. Some weekends and overtime may be required depending upon the audit.
Must be able to travel out of town up to 50% of the time (typically 4-5 nights every 2-3 weeks).
