The Shift Manager Restaurants is responsible for directly overseeing the operations of the food and beverage outlet on an assigned shift.
Position Responsibilities
Responsible for overall management of restaurant for a particular shift
Creates and ensures a fresh, positive and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount
Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring service commitments, standards/expectations, financial goals, and policies/procedures are consistently upheld
Builds rapport, commitment, and loyalty with team members and guests
Ensures that service is carried out in accordance with established policy
Trains and evaluates all restaurant personnel and enforces food and beverage policies and procedures
Ensures sanitation compliance throughout restaurants
Handles customer complaints
Responsible for meeting profit goals in all the restaurants
Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibilityRequirements
Three to five years’ experience in full service restaurant management
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field
Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak &
Understand)
