Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory status and develop individualized treatment plans
Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy
Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques and disease management
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated and patient-centered care
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in respiratory therapy
Requirements
Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of New Jersey
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
