Essential Job Responsibilities
The Residential Facility Coordinator is responsible for ALL student inventory. *Supervisors may assist in this process when they have been trained by the Intake/Residential Coordinator.
Storage runs are to happen a minimum of 3 times a week. The Residential Facility Coordinator will refer to the Storage Run list to know which student(s) need to be taken to storage to gather personal items or to purchase items (with permission from the student’s parent(s).
Student packages are required to be delivered to the student no more than 48 Business hours after the package has been delivered to DRS. Gather the student packages, add them to the student inventory/label all items and deliver the packages to each cabin according to where the student is living.
Student intakes (new admits) and student visits do not often happen more than a couple times a week. In the case of a student intake, the Facility Coordinator is required tosearch, label and inventory All items of the incoming student.
The Facility Coordinator will assist with check-ins.
When a student returns from a visit, search, label and approve new inventory.
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of ALL cabin cameras and the camera cards.
Coordinate with mentors tour logistics to ensure cabins, school and other facilities are clean and tidy.
Attend Coordinator meetings and RDM weekly.
Communicate with other departments on any student related issues when ON CALL.
Train/support the Supervisors, Mentor 2s, and mentors as discussed with the Residential Team. The emphasis may shift weekly. A weekly report will be given to the Residential team each week in the department meeting.
Monthly Tasks:
Once a month conduct a safety search of the campus.
Make sure that each cabin store is fully stocked.
Quarterly Tasks:
1.Check all water safety equipment as per water safety policy.
Annual Tasks:
Conduct a Risk Assessment Search of the campus once a year. The Risk Assessment Search paper will be filled out and then scanned and uploaded to a folder that is shared with the Resident Director once completed.
Other Tasks:
The Facility Coordinator is in charge of all DRS merchandise for these events (from ordering new products, setting prices, moving merchandise around campus and advertising merchandise). The Facility Coordinator is responsible for the DRS merchandise. This includes setting prices and keeping inventory of all merchandise.
When a student discharges from DRS, the Facility Coordinator is responsible for starting the discharge process with the student (this means going over the discharge sheet with the student, cleaning out their storage containers and going through lost &
found with the student).
The Facility Coordinatorwill take turns with the Residential Training Coordinator and the Student Support Coordinator during New Hire Orientation week. The training will be split between the three Coordinators by the Residential Director.
The Facility Coordinator is expected to report any and all known damages/repairs around campus to the Maintenance Department.
The Facility Coordinator is responsible for holding both staff and students accountable for picking up after themselves and keeping the campus clean (a.K.A. Tour Ready)
The Student Support Coordinator will complete any other tasks assigned by the Residential Director.

Strong collaborative skills—must be team oriented!
1+ years residential experience strongly preferred, but not required
Supervisor experience a plus, but not required
Required Qualifications
Must be 21 or older
Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle check
Must have a current Utah driver’s license
Will need to be CPR/First Aid (within first 30 days of employment) and Crisis Intervention trained within 30 days of employment
Physically fit.
