This position is based in Fort Collins, CO. Relocation assistance is available.
Essential Job Functions:
Create mathematically principled solutions to some of the world's most challenging information science problems
Prototype state-of-the-art algorithms in an agile environment
Implement high-performance software (from tactical systems to web applications)
Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments, innovative analysis tools, and flexible compute clusters to quantify the benefit of the technology
Contribute to the direction of a small, talented team with your expertise and ideas
Requirements
M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Applied or Computational Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Statistics and Probability, or related field
3+ yrs directly related professional experience (outside of academia)
Demonstrated experience in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Scientific Computing and Probability
Proof of academic excellence (3.5+ GPA)
Due to the nature of this work, applicants must be eligible to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, which requires candidates meet the following:
U.S. Citizen
Personal history indicating trustworthiness, reliability, and sound judgement (e.G. clean criminal record, no use of illegal drugs, etc.)
