Job Description
Abcam, a leading life sciences company, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Immunoassay Team at our location in Eugene, OR. As a Research Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and validation of antibodies for immunoassay applications.
Responsibilities:
Perform documented methods required for immunoassay development, following established protocols and procedures
Assist in the further validation of antibodies for immunoassay development, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results
Maintain meticulous laboratory records, including experimental details, observations, and data
Schedule and plan experimental work, organizing materials and ensuring efficient workflow
Effectively communicate experimental details, both verbally and in technical reports and notes
Perform data analysis of method validation experiments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of results
Adhere to all safety and quality regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant laboratory environment
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of scientific equipment to ensure optimal performance
Flexibility to perform other duties as required or assigned by the team
