As a Remote Travel Agent/Advisor, you will work directlywith your clients, and various vendors and suppliers for the purpose ofcreating custom vacation packages.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, plan and execute travel itineraries including but notlimited to:
airline, car rental, cruises, resorts &
hotels, amusementparks,concert &
sporting event tickets,and other tours &
activities.
Process payments on behalf of your clients to securereservations.
Maintain relationships with industry specific vendors andsuppliers.
Attend ongoing trainings to maintain and increase knowledgewithin the industry.
Provide superior customer service to clients.
Provide details to clients regarding any required traveldocuments such as passports or visas.
Skills and Requirements
Complete required Certification program in a timely manner.
Complete and maintain agent registrations with vendors andsuppliers.
Laptop, Computer, or Smart Phone with reliable internet accessis required.
Ability to manage your time effectively and stay organized.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Personal travel experience is an advantage, but not arequirement.
Previous experience in hospitality and/or sales is anadvantage, but not a requirement.
Must be 18 years of age and be authorized to work in the US.
