Registered Respiratory Therapist Icu

Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist ICU in Grapevine, TX at a Level II Trauma facility. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic respiratory disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients with acute and chronic respiratory disorders
- Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed
- Monitor and interpret patient data, including pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas results
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and modify treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
- Respond to emergency situations and provide life support as needed
- Document patient interventions, progress, and outcomes in medical records
- Stay current on advancements in respiratory therapies and technologies
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU respiratory therapy
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
