Expected to open in August 2024, this 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital operating jointly with Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, is more than a job. What you will do in this role:

• 
  
• The clinical supervisor/charge nurse assures the provision of safe and effective patient care after hours, on weekends and on holidays or when CNO/NM/Interim is not in building
  
• Responsibilities include assessment of all departments in order to assure continuity of care and report pertinent information to management and administration
  
• The clinical supervisor/charge nurse is responsible for effectively communicating unusual occurrences or complaints for follow –up and intervenes immediately when needed
  
• Ensures the nursing department staff performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors
  
• Ensures occurrence of appropriate documentation, including documentation of medical necessity, by staff in medical records;
  monitors completion andrevisions to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan
  
• Assists to review and evaluate risk and quality indicators, patient satisfaction results, and outcomes in order to continually improve performance and outcomes;
  communicates this information to the nursing department
  
• Assures education and training is provided to nursing staff on Quality Indicators (QIs) assures timely and accurate QI assessments and scoring are performed
  
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 
  
• Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required
  
• Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred
  
• Minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitative or acute care setting and/or demonstrates leadership ability
  
• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel;
  effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred;
  proficiency in basic computer skills required.
  
• Demonstrates problem solving and critical thinking skills
  

Salary range:
$42.00 - $58.00per hour. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate
