Position Summary:
Providesdirectday-to-day care of patients and families.Practices to the fullest extent of his/her licensein accordance withorganizational policies.Under the direction of theManagerof Patient CareServicesfunctions as a member of the Patient Care Team to implement the patient’s plan of care. Assesses, plans,implementsand evaluates activities necessary to achieveoptimalpatient outcomes.Providespopulation specific care to meet the developmental needs of those patients we serve (adolescent, adult, and geriatric).The nurse, in conjunction with theManagerof Patient Care Services, participates in performance excellence initiatives that are focused on improving patient care and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of a School of Nursing, College or University
Graduate of a School of Nursing with a Temporary Practice Permit or a PA RN license that is active and in good standing
CPR Certification within 30 days of hire. Must renew every 2 years
1-3 years’ experience in medical/surgical or rehab setting preferred
IV proficiency preferred
