Regional Administrator for Skilled Nursing Facilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Administrator to oversee the operations of two skilled nursingfacilities located in Ulster and Rockland Counties, New York. This position is integral in ensuring that our facilitiesmaintain high standards of care and operational efficiency. The Ulster County facility houses 180 beds, while theRockland County facility specializes in Neurobiological Integration (NBI) with a 1:
1 care ratio for its 20 beds. TheRegional Administrator will provide leadership and support to the administrators of both facilities, driving strategicinitiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
As a Regional Administrator, you will be responsible for visiting both facilities regularly to provide hands-on leadershipand support. This role involves decision-making, survey preparation, community outreach, and strategic planning. Youwill work closely with the administrators to ensure the highest quality of care for residents and to foster a positiveworking environment for staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Oversight:
Manage and support the administrators at both facilities, ensuring adherence tocompany policies and regulatory requirements.
Quality of Care:
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care, particularly in the specialized NBI facility,maintaining a 1:
1 care ratio.
Survey Readiness:
Prepare facilities for state and federal surveys, ensuring full compliance with all regulations.
Employee Relations:
Cultivate positive relationships among staff, promoting a supportive and efficient workenvironment.
Census Growth:
Develop and implement strategies to increase resident census and maintain high occupancyrates.
Strategic Planning:
Identify and respond to business trends, developing plans to maintain productivity andprofitability.
Hands-On Leadership:
Regularly visit both facilities to provide direct support and leadership to administratorsand staff.
Program Implementation:
Oversee the implementation of company programs and values, ensuring alignmentwith organizational goals.
Qualifications and Preferred Candidate Qualities:
Must hold a current administrator license.
Proven track record as an administrator, ideally with experience managing multiple facilities.
Extensive background in handling state and federal surveys with demonstrable positive outcomes.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop administrative staff.
Willingness to travel regularly between Ulster and Rockland Counties.
Compensation:
Salary:
$130,000 base salary, with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
