We are seeking an On-Call Receptionist to perform various administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be our residential community's first point of contact. Duties include offering administrative support across the organization and welcoming guests, residents, and their families. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. To be successful in this role, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies promptly and effectively while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.
Ability to work overnights and holidays is required.
$12.75 per hour
Time and a half for all hours worked on company-recognized holidays
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests, residents, and their families upon arrival
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email
Maintain security of community and infection protocol by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, health screenings for all employees and visitors, etc.)
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer service attitude
High school degree;
additional certification in Office Management is a plus
