Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
This high-profile Real EstateFund Accountant role works closely with our Investment Management team, partners, asset managers, portfolio managers, and property-level accountants.The accountantis responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day accounting for one or more assigned real estate investment funds. This employee receivestraining and mentoring. This position is based in Stream's Dallas headquarters in the beautiful Arts District.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain books for one or more assigned Investment Fund(s);
Submit quarterly for Senior Fund Accountant’s review.
Prepare quarterly financial statements with notes for the audit.
Monitor and record cash transactions.
Reconcile bank accounts.
Review property-level financial statements
Prepare debt compliance,and submit to the lender (fund level).
Prepare capital call and distribution notices for partners.
Facilitate the audit and tax preparation process.
Opportunity to participate in Annual Meetings with investors
