Radiology Technologist - Prn

Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Responsible for all Radiology and CT exams/procedures in different departments of the hospital, including but not limited to Emergency Department, Surgery, ICU, Fluoro and Portables. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures. Ensures a high quality of images produced.
Requirements
Associate’s degree (A. A.) in Radiologic Technology from two- year college or technical school;
or graduate of an accredited school of radiation sciences as evidenced by licensure in the State of Texas.
Six months to one-year related experience and/ or training preferred;
or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be a Certified Radiologic Technologist licensed as an MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) with the Texas Medical Board.
Computed Tomography (CT) experience preferred.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible.
Must be CPR certified.
