As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic X-Ray procedures on patients of all ages. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis. Key Responsibilities:
Perform X-Ray examinations on patients using radiographic imaging techniques and equipment.
Prepare patients for procedures, positioning them properly to obtain accurate images.
Ensure patient safety during procedures, following radiation safety protocols.
Collaborate with medical staff to assess and determine imaging needs for accurate diagnosis.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
Monitor and record patient records, ensuring accurate documentation for diagnosis and treatment.
Provide compassionate care to patients, addressing their concerns and answering any questions they may have.
Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in Radiologic Technology.
Requirements
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
Certification in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
Proficient in operating radiographic imaging equipment and software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
