REQUIREMENTS:
LICENSED AS A RADIATION THERAPIST WITH ARRT AND TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (TDH) LICENSE (GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED
RADIATION THERAPY SCHOOL)
BLS
1 YEAR'S EXPERIENCE IN RADIATION THERAPY
Administers the daily radiation treatment as prescribed by the radiationoncologist for patients of all ages and planned by physics staff;
support toinclude simulation of patients to procure pertinent information for dosecalculation and verification filming, patient dosage, and possible side effectsfrom radiation treatment, quality control procedures, and patient schedulingand charging. The RT reports to the Department Director. There are nosubordinates who report directly to the staff RT;
however, when in charge,responsible for supervising and giving work direction to other unit personnel.
PAY RANGE:
$24.44-$50.00
