Quality Lab Tech - 2nd Shift

Express Employment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Lab Tech. As a Quality Lab Tech, you will be responsible for conducting various metallurgical lab tests and inspections to ensure that products meet the highest quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Perform various lab tests and inspections on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
Record and analyze test results, and communicate findings to the Quality team and relevant stakeholders
Identify and troubleshoot any issues or non-conformities in the testing process
Maintain and calibrate lab equipment regularly to ensure accurate and reliable results
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
Document and report on quality metrics, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a laboratory setting, ideally in the steel industry
Strong knowledge of lab testing techniques and equipment
Experience with interpreting technical specifications and regulatory requirements
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Good communication and reporting abilities
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
