Quality Inspector

Job Description
Basic Function
Under supervision, performs a wide variety of duties to support the Quality department. Perform mechanical and/or electrical inspections, test and inspection of incoming material, manufactured parts and final assemblies. Knows and applies fundamental concepts of inspection and product quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Audit final products for conformance to production orders/specifications and enter results into computer.
Inspect in-process parts and assembly, and review completed orders.
Inspect incoming material and products as needed.
Enter inspection results to electronic or paper log.
Fill out first article inspection (FAI) reports and submitting the documents to the customer.
Fill out customer surveys/ audits.
Generate NMRs for incoming/in-process inspection rejects.
Disposition of rejected parts (NMRs) based on MRB decision.
Generate Quality Certificates.
Assist in liquid dye penetrant testing and generate NDT certificates.
Support certification process by reviewing quality router and scanning associated documents.
Support internal audit process.
Support company in continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to follow all safety procedures.
Regular attendance and ability to get along with others in a team.
Other duties as assigned.
