Quality Control Laboratory Support Technician

Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. (CIL) is searching for aQuality Control Laboratory Support Technician based onsite in our Andover, MA facility. The Quality Control Laboratory Support Technician (RP/ISO) is responsible for inventory management, glassware cleaning, and basic equipment verifications within the Quality Control department. Occasional travel to our Tewksbury, MA facility may be required.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the ordering and inventory maintenance of QC reagents, standards, and general laboratory consumables
Responsible for the cleaning and storage of QC laboratory glassware
Responsible for supporting the QC laboratory with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, the daily verification of the QC balances and environmental monitoring
Responsible for the sampling of materials for outside testing
Follow documented procedures and document activities as required
Any additional functions as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team

Pharmaceutical companies have begun to investigate deuteration of molecules that may provide advantages over their existing nondeuterated counterparts. In addition, increasing research into the potential medical advantages of new deuterated drugs is also occurring. In high technology, deuterated organic molecules and deuterium gas are commonly used in the manufacturing of microelectronics and OLEDs, which contribute to the increased lifetime of the devices.
