What Quality Assurance Technician will do:
- Perform full-color visual and other inspections and audits to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements
- Examine raw materials for quantity and general descriptive attributes and defects with measurement equipment such as micrometer, calibrated torque wrench, force gauges, etc.
- Compile, record, and process mandatory paperwork and forms concerning inspection results, tests, and audits
- Lead continuous improvement programs using problem analysis and resolution skills
- Employ effective, respectful, and persuasive spoken and written communication skills
- Ensure compliance with work instructions and/or Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
- Ensure adherence to all current company policies and maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain the highest levels of ethics and confidentiality
What you need to be a Quality Assurance Technician:
- 1+ year or more related experience
- Experience with micrometers, calibrated torque wrenches, force gauges, etc.
- Basic computer experience
- Ability to do basic math
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate information
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to submit to a background check
