Quality Assurance Supervisor

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our plant QA Department and Sanitation Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing, quality systems, and regulatory compliance. You will ensure the plant meets all quality, safety, and regulatory standards, provide training and support to employees, and collaborate with managers to achieve key goals.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the plant QA Department and Sanitation Team.
Train and support plant employees on Quality and GMP issues.
Conduct GMP and sanitation audits.
Manage the plant sanitation program and order necessary supplies.
Collaborate daily with managers to achieve goals.
Ensure SQF program compliance.
Track and address quality trends and failures.
Develop and maintain Quality Systems and SOPs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
Conduct required safety and SQF training.
Maintain a presence on the production floor.
Review and approve batch records, raw material specs, and certificates of analysis.
Maintain nutritional information and weight control programs.
Lead focus teams for quality and material issues.
Work onsite during scheduled hours.
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Science, Biological Science, Food Science, or related field.
5+ years in food manufacturing.

SQF, HACCP, and PCQI certifications.
Compliance experience with regulatory agencies and audits.
Strong written documentation skills.
Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
Knowledge of food manufacturing documents and regulations.
Supervisory and organizational skills.
Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
