Qc Day 1 Chemistry Group Leader - 2nd Shift

Job Description
Supports clinical testing of pharmaceutical products
Gathers data and documents test results.
Reviews test results to ensure compliance with standards;
reports any quality anomalies.
Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
Participates in required training activities.
Maintains laboratory supplies.
Completes test records and reviews data.
Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups.
May assist in qualification and validation of methods
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptability, andapositive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Leadership responsibilities:
Coordinate scheduling, allocation ofresponsibilities, training andnew hire on-boarding process
Monitors the day to day operations of QC analyst staff
May support peer group lead operations
Participates in training of other employees.
Facilitate staff access to systems, controlled areas, etc. using approved procedures
Participates in productivity tracking and prepares monthly metrics and quality reports.
Assists in coordinating equipment maintenance and calibration.
Participates in new hire interviews
Participates in the overtime and weekend schedule as required.
