Job Summary
Provides general administrative support for Purchasing &
Estimating department, assists in the maintenance of design and option pricing information, and aids in the development selection packages. Performs routine assigned tasks through the use of basic office skills in conjunction with direction from supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in building home budget
Assists with ensuring plans are accurate with website interactives and brochures
Assists with developing Smart Series color schemes and interior packages.
Assists with ensuring design samples and options are current with market trends.
Maintains samples in a workable and organized manner.
Ensures Envision is accurate up to date and linked properly
As needed, visits the field to ensure the model home and inventory home selections are compliant with current option and expectations.
Assists with entering design selections and options for Inventory homes prior to official opening.
Confirms exterior color selections of adjacent homes to ensure color selections are not duplicated.
Researches and provides information to trade partners and colleagues, as needed
Prepares any necessary Change Orders;
verifies accuracy of information and pricing prior to submitting to Sales Admin for processing.
Prepares start packages
Assists with achieving division start goals.
Assists with special projects as requested and perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
Education Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) with at least one year of relevant course study including seminars and workshop combined with a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training;
general knowledge of home building industry relative to designs and color coordination.
Skills and Abilities:

Strong customer service-oriented personality and ability to work well with others for interaction with a variety of people inside and outside of the organization.
Good verbal and written communication and organization skills as well as detail-oriented aptitude to provide accurate information.
Design background preferred with general knowledge of blueprint and plot map reading to assist in the selection process.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Office environment.
