Job Description
We are accepting resumes for Estimator positions to perform the tasks listed above in the Project Overview.
The positions will be embedded within FEMA to provide technical assistance that may include:
Perform field inspections of damaged facilities to gain an understanding of the probable scope of work, including means and methods of construction.
Conduct both parametric and detailed cost analysis on a variety of public and municipalinfrastructure.
Prepare estimates using a variety of documented data sources.
Identifyscope of eligible work for projects, including cause and dimensions of damage, and the work necessary to repair the damage, and produce efficient, traceable,verifiable,and defendable cost estimates meeting the quality review requirements of FEMA.
All Estimators will use FEMA’s Grants Manager system. FEMA’s Grants Manager system is used to assign and track actions throughout PA project development and to collect all PA project-related information and documents, including correspondence.
If selected the role would initially be a part-time, casual position and would become full-time upon task order awards.
