We are an award winning healthcare organization that specializes in treating patients in the underserved community throughout New York City. We are actively seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a team of Prescribers You would work with some of the top Psychiatrists in the field and treat patients in the community suffering from various types of mental health illnesses including bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, PTSD, manic depression, and many others. You would be working with mostly adults ages 30- 70. Our organization has multiple locations throughout the five burroughs of New York. Our main focus is to make sure that the patients we treat get the highest level of care possible. You would see anywhere from 7-10 patients on any given day and given 90 minutes for an initial evaluation of a patient, and 45 minutes for follow up appointments. We also offer a very flexible work schedule with 32 hours per week being considered full time. Please see job highlights below for more information.

$140,000 to $150,000, DOE

Responsibilities:
Seeing 7-10 patients daily and performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
90 minutes allotted for Psychiatric evaluations
45 minutes allotted for medication management
Documenting notes in EMR system
Working closely with Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners on staff to help evaluate patient mental health conditions
Speaking with family members when needed
Participating in group meetings when necessary
Requirements:
Masters Degree from Accredited PMHNP Program
Board Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Active or in process DEA License

Active or in process New York State NP license
Strong communication skills
