Our organization has been on a mission to provide medical and behavioral health services to the underserved community since inception. As the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you would be working alongside our clinical staff in our outpatient clinic located in the Bronx. The area we specialize in is providing behavioral health care to children and adolescence in foster care. You would be working in a collaborative work environment to treat patients 18 years of age and under. We are seeking someone ideally for full time but would also consider part time as well. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday 9 am to 8 pm and we offer a very flexible work schedule. No on call or weekends required. We also have parking for our employees and it is an easy commute by train as well. Please see job highlights below.

Salary:
$140,000 to $150,000
Benefits:

Responsibilities:
Seeing 8-10 patients daily performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
1 hour given for psychiatric evaluation
20-30 minutes for med checks
No injections
Working closely with consulting Psychiatrist and social workers on site
Designing treatment plan for patients suffering from various mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, Adjustment disorder, and ADHD
Documenting notes in EVOLV EMR system
Discussing clinical practice with social workers and providing medication education
Requirements:
Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Graduate of accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program
Active or in process New York state license
Preferred 1 year of experience as a PMHNP
Desire to work with child and adolescent population
Strong interpersonal skills
