Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Multi-Family LITCH Property Manager to join our team. As the Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing our Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) properties. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, maintaining property occupancy, and fostering a positive living experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
LITCH Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to all LITCH program regulations, including income qualification, rent limits, and reporting requirements.
Leasing and Marketing:
Oversee the leasing process, including advertising vacancies, conducting tours, screening applicants, and executing lease agreements.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure the property is well-maintained and in compliance with safety standards.
Financial Management:
Manage the property budget, rent collection, and accounts payable/receivable.
Resident Relations:
Foster positive relationships with residents, address concerns promptly, and ensure a high level of resident satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead a team of on-site staff, including leasing agents and maintenance personnel.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (preferred) (or) in lieu of degree, equivalent experience is also preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, with a focus on LITCH properties.
Strong knowledge of LITCH program regulations and compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in property management software (e.G., Yardi, AppFolio).
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
