Project Manager

PROJECT MANAGER
GRAMERCY, LA
CONTRACT, minimum 6 months
70% in the plant and 30% in the office.

Our client is looking for a dynamic Project Manager for their smelter grade Alumina refinery.
Key roles and responsibilities:

1. *Initiation:
*
- Define project goals, objectives, and scope.
- Develop project charters and initial budgets.
- Identify stakeholders and establish communication channels.
2. *Planning:
*
- Create project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Define project tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
- Risk management planning, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
3. *Execution:
*
- Coordinate project team activities and resources.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines.
- Conduct team meetings, status updates, and reporting.
- Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to standards.
4. *Monitoring and Controlling:
*
- Track project performance against baselines and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage changes through change control processes.
- Resolve issues, conflicts, and risks as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and standards.
5. *Closure:
*
- Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions.
- Ensure project deliverables meet requirements and obtain client acceptance.
- Hand off project deliverables, documentation, and knowledge transfer as necessary.
- Complete project documentation, including final reports and financial summaries.
Overall, a project manager is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards while managing stakeholders, risks, and resources effectively.
