Responsibilities
Estimate design/build projects, residential, commercial, and municipal in nature.
Research the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor and equipment.
Assess the risk levels associated with a project.
Ensure profitability through preparation of competitive proposals.
Manage the submittal process for projects and bids.
Define project scope, acquire bids and approve all invoices from subcontractors.
Schedule short term and long-term crews for projects.
Conduct daily site visits on projects, monitoring subs, quality and schedule.
Monitor the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs
