The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating e-commerce projects with a focus on international trade and product development. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, experience in e-commerce, and an understanding of the complexities of international markets. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Has some experience in outdoor hunting. Having experience being a hunter or involved in hunting would be a plus.
Requirements
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are aligned with business objectives.
Lead the execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Allocate tasks to team members based on their expertise.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Manage and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Provide clear direction, support, and motivation to team members.
Facilitate regular team meetings to track progress and address any issues or roadblocks.
Serve as a point of contact for teams working on the same project.
Ensure team actions remain in synergy.
Risk Management and Problem Solving:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
Address project-related issues and conflicts promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Implement best practices and lessons learned to improve future project outcomes.
Decision-Making:
Evaluate multiple options for project progression and make effective decisions.
Advocate for additional funding when necessary
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with stakeholders.
Prepare and present project updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Maintain transparent and effective communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all projects comply with international trade regulations and industry standards.
Monitor and maintain quality control throughout project execution.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous enhancement of project processes.
Qualifications:
Must Haves:
Bachelor degree in STEM or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within an international trade or product-based company.
Should be able to adapt quickly to the market
Familiarity with E-bike components, materials, and manufacturing processes
Strong analytical ability and excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.G., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
Strong understanding of international trade regulations, global markets, and supply chain management.
Nice to Have
Has some experience in outdoor hunting
Knowledge of hunting bike features, durability, and performance requirements.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
There are prolonged periods of sitting, standing and working at a computer and on the phone with a headset.
Traveling may be required.
