Your role will involve:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Leading the conceptual to detailed design of hydropower and pumped storage projects
Perform as Capture Manager for pre-positioning and preparing proposals
Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing hydropower and dams projects including review and surveillance of monitoring data.
Comprehensive Safety Reviews and FERC Part12D Inspections of existing Dam and Hydropower Projects. This would require the leading of multidisciplinary teams to deliver all aspects.
Perform Alternatives Analyses, Feasibility Studies, and Detailed Designs with strong knowledge of design drawings and technical specifications.
Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications.
Client liaison and experience with technical review boards.
Project management of multidisciplinary teams and the engagement of AECOM’s operations/finance teams.
Mentoring and technical development of junior staff, supporting them to achieve technical success
Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.
Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.

Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical/Geotechnical Engineering + 10years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of this work, a valid U.S Driver’s License is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license
15+ years or more of relevant experience with hydropower and pumped storage projects
Active participation in NHA, HydroVision, Clean Currents, CEATI, ASDSO, USSD, and/or ICOLD
PMP
Strong PM skills, ability to deliver multidisciplinary projects on schedule at the as-sold margin
Ability to effectively mentor Deputy PMs
Strong writing and communication skills
Business development for new and existing clients, prepare engineering services proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
Must be a resourceful, highly organized professional with attention to people
Strong commitment to ensuring safe project execution
